Counselor educator and licensed professional school counselor (OH) with over 8 years of combined experience. I have held positions as a school counselor in elementary and junior high public school settings. I have experience teaching courses in both CACREP-accredited and state-accredited counselor education programs. Specifically, I have been the instructor of record for both School Counseling Internship and Practica courses which includes multiple semesters working with clinical sites and managing clinical field experiences for school counseling students. I have received formal training and certification as an online instructor, and have experience teaching in both face-to-face and remote learning environments. I believe in the educational values of a growth mindset, fostering a lifelong developmental learning process, and the promotion of both self and social change. My pedagogical process is based on the concept of intentionality, experiential learning, and student-centered partnerships.
