I received a PhD in mathematics from the University of Rhode Island in May, 2004 and began teaching at Salem State College in the mathematics department in the Fall of 2004. I had taught high school prior to attending graduate school full-time, but I think I am better suited to teach at the collegiate level. As of July 2021, I have moved to a role with academic affairs as the interim Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
My field of study is Block Design and I am interested in Graph Theory. I spent over a decade working with future teachers as a focus of my advising and teaching. In my current administrative role, I hope to promote the College of Arts and Sciences as the collection of departments that together provide students with the well-rounded education that will make them successful in the 21st century.
As interim Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, my responsibilities lie in the operations and personnel of our 20 departments.
