Dr. Gleasman is a broadly trained geoscientist, with expertise in applying a wide range hydro-biogeochemical analyses to identify and understand how disturbance events affect natural processes. Dr. Gleasman’s research interests include: (1) Quantifying the effects extreme events (hurricanes & wildfires) have on carbon transports through hydrological and soil chemistry alterations, (2) Applying geoscientific research techniques to aid in a variety of criminal investigations, and (3) Utilizing virtual and augmented reality to provide students and community stakeholders with field geoscience and investigation experiences.
