Professional Biography

With over 20 years of entrepreneurship and business ownership experience, I am a Senior Lecturer of Entrepreneurship and Sustainability at Middlesex University. I hold a PhD in Entrepreneurship from the University of St Andrews, an MBA from the University of South Dakota, and a Senior Fellowship from Advance HE. I am also a certified practitioner of the Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile® (EMP).

My mission is to mentor and develop the next generation of business leaders by creating innovative and engaging learning experiences that prepare students for success in the dynamic and ever-changing world of business. I have designed and delivered courses and programs in entrepreneurship, management, research and education at various levels of higher education, both nationally and internationally. I have also worked with a diverse range of clients, including veterinary medicine businesses, startups and large organizations, as a consultant and researcher. I am passionate about business succession, entrepreneurship, and open educational resources, and have received multiple awards and recognitions for my work in these fields. I have also published, presented, and spoken widely on various topics related to entrepreneurship and business development.
