Dr. Mike Testa is a Boston area audio educator, producer, and composer. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance/ Sound Recording Technology and a master of music in Sound Recording Technology. and a Doctorate of Education from The University of Massachusetts Lowell. He is currently an Associate Professor at Salem State University where his research topics include music technology, technology education, and policy. He was recently nominated by the Grammy Academy for Educator of the Year for 2016 and 2017.
Previous to working in education, he has worked in a professional capacity in the industries of sports broadcasting and music production. Mike Testa spent over 17 years in New England Sports covering Boston Red Sox Baseball and Boston Bruins Hockey where he was nominated for a New England Emmy in 2006 in Audio Achievement.
