Zaiyong Tang is a Professor of Management Information Systems in the Department of Marketing and Decision Sciences at Salem State University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Florida; an M.S. from Washington State University; an M.E. from Chengdu University of Science and Technology (merged with Sichuan University); and a B.E. from Chongqing University, P.R. China. Dr. Tang has over 40 refereed journal and conference publications. His work has appeared in Journal of Information Privacy and Security, INFORMS Journal on Computing, Information and Management, Simulation, Journal of Information Technology Theory and Application, Journal of Interactive Marketing, Computer and Information Science, and Neural Networks. He co-edited a book titled IT-enabled Strategic Management. Dr. Tang has been a principal investigator and co-PI of several external funded research projects and obtained grants of more than $300,000. Dr. Tang is an associate editor of the Journal of Information Privacy and Security, served as an associate editor of the International Journal of Sustainable Strategic Management. His research interests include information technology diffusion, artificial intelligence (in particular, intelligent agents), neural networks, knowledge management, and agent-based modeling.
